Job Description
Workato is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented FP&A Manager to join their Finance team. This role will specifically support Workato's Sales and Marketing departments, providing critical financial insights and analysis to drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, with a keen understanding of sales and marketing dynamics.In this role, the candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining financial models to support sales and marketing forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans.
- Analyzing financial performance against key business metrics.
- Collaborating with Sales and Marketing teams to prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Preparing and distributing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for Sales and Marketing departments.
- Conducting ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives.
- Working closely with Sales, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning and analysis activities.
Requirements for this role include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably with a focus on Sales and Marketing.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with financial planning software Anaplan and ERP system NetSuite is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
