Director Product Manager (Data Orchestration and Insights)

Job Description

Workato is seeking a Director Product Manager to lead the strategy for its data orchestration platform. This role involves establishing Workato as the enterprise leader in data orchestration, building a unified platform that seamlessly orchestrates data pipelines for ETL, ELT, and Reverse ETL. The Director will collaborate with engineering, UX, and go-to-market teams to ensure seamless feature adoption and drive customer trust.Role involves:

• Developing and executing the product strategy for a unified data orchestration platform.
• Embedding data quality, lineage, governance, and operational analytics as core platform features.
• Leveraging AI to enhance data classification, transformation recommendations, and self-healing pipelines.
• Architecting a self-service data virtualization platform for real-time data exploration and analysis.
• Leading cross-functional execution to ensure seamless feature adoption.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of product management experience in SaaS or B2B environments, specializing in data management, data orchestration, or infrastructure products.
• Deep expertise in ETL, ELT, Reverse ETL, and data activation pipelines.
• Strong understanding of modern data architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience integrating AI/ML-driven insights into data management products.
• Deep knowledge of data security, compliance, and governance best practices.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
