JD Sports is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in the daily operations of the store. This role involves taking ownership of various tasks and ensuring store KPIs are met. In the absence of the manager, the Assistant Store Manager will serve as the primary point of contact, motivating staff to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service while exceeding targets and upholding company standards.
Role Involves:
- Ensuring customers receive attentive and responsible service.
- Handling inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Ensuring staff appearance and dress standards comply with company guidelines.
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Understanding and interpreting company reports.
- Utilizing in-store devices and the store dashboard to analyze KPIs.
- Implementing weekly visual merchandising briefs.
- Ensuring proper pricing and display of merchandise.
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of stock.
- Identifying and developing internal staff.
- Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and training.
Requirements:
- Retail experience.
- Team management experience.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- IT skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Good level of English.
