Floor Manager - New Opening Milano Stazione Centrale

Job Description

JD Sports Fashion, a leading multi-channel retailer of sports and outdoor fashion, is seeking a Floor Manager for their store in Milano Stazione Centrale. The Floor Manager will support the Store Manager and act as a key point of contact for the sales staff.

Responsibilities:

• Opening and closing the store, including merchandise arrangement and briefings.
• Managing the sales floor and ensuring cohesion among staff.
• Monitoring KPIs such as Gain, Profit, ATV, UPT, ASP, and Conversion Rate.
• Coordinating and motivating the sales team, delegating tasks and providing feedback.
• Providing excellent customer service and handling customer complaints.
• Assisting with recruitment, training, and onboarding of new employees.
• Performing administrative tasks related to hiring.
• Identifying employee potential and providing feedback.
• Organizing employee schedules based on activity and sales peaks.
• Monitoring employee conduct and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Ensuring the safety of the store and its occupants.
• Maintaining visual merchandising standards and store cleanliness.
• Managing inventory and participating in loss prevention efforts.
• Handling cash register operations and supervising cash handling.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in managing structured retail outlets, preferably in dynamic and multinational contexts.
• Good knowledge of the English language.
• Leadership and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of the Office package (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
