Monzo is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join their Credit Platform team. The team's mission is to empower Monzo’s credit teams to be the best across Europe. The Senior Product Manager will lead a cross-functional team to build products that improve how Monzo makes credit decisions. This role involves building a deep understanding of the credit domain and the needs of credit analysts.He/she will set product strategy, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and lead planning processes. The Senior Product manager will work with credit risk, engineering, research, data science, and compliance teams.What this role involves:
  • Working closely with credit risk experts.
  • Partnering with backend and analytics engineers.
  • Presenting product strategy to stakeholders.
  • Reasoning through build vs. partner trade-offs.
Requirements
  • Experience in transforming internal teams, or in similar optimisation domains.
  • Comfortable contributing to discussions about systems architecture
  • Fluent in data.
  • Systems thinker.
  • Data-driven and passionate about metrics.
  • Full of novel ideas and creative solutions.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Fast learner, humble, and curious.
