Monzo is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive the growth of Monzo Flex, aiming to become the UK's largest credit card issuer. The role involves defining and delivering the strategy to expand into new segments, working with a cross-functional team to attract new consumer segments. This person will define product strategy, work collaboratively with various teams, lead the planning process, and balance long-term growth with short-term targets.
What this role involves:- Leading a cross-functional team to develop and deliver a strategy for attracting new consumer segments to Flex.
- Defining product strategy for the next phase of growth for key segments.
- Working iteratively and collaboratively with design, engineering, research, data science, and compliance.
- Leading the planning process and associated roadmap prioritization.
- Balancing work to create long-term growth and hit short-term growth and revenue targets.
- Shaping the broader product strategy by sharing insights from your work.
Requirements:- Experience working with financial services products, preferably credit cards or BNPL.
- Extensive experience shipping successful, customer-centric digital products in a fast-growing tech company.
- A commercial mindset with a track record of delivering P&L impact through product work.
- Passion for building value for customers and not just achieving business results.
- Data-driven and passionate about metrics, with a drive for continuous improvement.
- Creative and opportunistic with a love for working as part of a fast, iterative team.
- Excellent communication and persuasive skills to a wide range of audiences.
- Fast learner, humble, curious, and enjoys developing themselves and others.
