4-year University Degree Required - Children's English Teacher in Japan at Amity

This position requires relocation to Japan and offers international teaching experience. The candidate will have an opportunity to gain invaluable teaching skills.

Role involves:

• Teaching English conversation lessons to students ages 6 months to 18 years old
• Planning creative lessons using Amity teaching methods and materials
• Maintaining regular communication with parents regarding weekly lessons
• Interviewing and counseling prospective students
• Marketing Amity products and services
• Daily communication with students and parents in the branch school lobby
• Preparing progress records during specified periods throughout the school year

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree (all majors considered)
• Speaks English at an idiomatic level
• Completion of elementary, secondary and university education in English
• Experience working with children of various ages
• Teaching experience or background in education (helpful)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (helpful)
• Willingness to learn and apply Amity’s teaching methods (helpful)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to cultural differences (helpful)
• Sales/customer service experience (helpful)
