4-year University Degree Required - Children's English Teacher in Japan at Amity

Amity, a leading English conversation school for children in Japan, is seeking enthusiastic professionals to join their team as English teachers. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain invaluable teaching skills and international business experience while working with children aged 6 months to 18 years old.

The teacher will work nationwide in Japan, on the islands of Honshu and Kyushu.

Role Involves:

• Teaching English conversation lessons to students ages 6 months to 18 years old
• Planning creative lessons using Amity teaching methods and materials
• Maintaining regular communication with parents regarding weekly lessons
• Interviewing and counseling prospective students
• Marketing Amity products and services
• Daily communication with students and parents in the branch school lobby
• Preparing progress records during specified periods throughout the school year

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree; all majors considered
• Speaks English at an idiomatic level
• Completion of elementary, secondary and university education in English
• Experience working with children of various ages
• Willingness to learn and apply Amity’s teaching methods
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and adapt to cultural differences
