Senior Platform Developer, Backend

Dialogue is seeking a Senior Platform Developer, Backend to join its Platform team in Montreal. The Platform team is responsible for building and operating platform technologies that improve the security, reliability, and agility of Dialogue's Integrated Health Platform. This platform supports the health and wellness of millions of people across numerous organizations.

The Senior Platform Developer will work on platform tools and services that power Dialogue’s software products. The role involves working on an events platform and empowering technical colleagues to create member-focused features more efficiently.

What this role involves:

• Designing, building, maintaining, and operating HTTP services, data pipelines, libraries, and infrastructure.
• Working on an events platform to improve data reliability and compliance.
• Contributing to workflow orchestration, data warehouse infrastructure, user authentication, and a member engagement platform.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience working on distributed, service-oriented architectures.
• Comfortable designing software and communicating with colleagues.
• Familiarity with event delivery and data synchronization architectures (or willingness to learn).
• Experience with Python APIs, PostgreSQL, Terraform, Snowflake, and Airflow is a plus.
• Bilingualism in French and English is essential.
