Monzo is seeking a Director of Operational Risk to lead the development, implementation, and oversight of the Operational Risk framework in Europe. This role is based in Dublin, Ireland, and reports to the Chief Risk Officer, Monzo Europe. The Director will oversee key operational risks, including ICT, information security, payments, data, business continuity, third-party, and outsourcing risks.
The role involves:
- Developing and maintaining the EU Operational Risk Framework.
- Assessing operational risks and controls.
- Implementing operational risk monitoring and reporting processes.
- Overseeing the validation of internal operational risk capital models.
- Leading risk assurance activities.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in operational risk management within a banking environment.
- Strong knowledge of operational risk.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Detailed knowledge of digital banking products and operations.
- Understanding of operational risk and control management frameworks.
