Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

Teads, now combined with Outbrain Inc., is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Montpellier. The company operates as the omnichannel outcomes platform for the open internet, focusing on delivering full-funnel results for marketers across premium media. The new Teads partners directly with over 10,000 publishers and 20,000 advertisers globally.

As a Senior Software Engineer, the candidate will collaborate with various teams to develop complex services, design, develop, test, and monitor code autonomously, and work with the Engineering Manager, Product Manager, and UI/UX team to frame projects. They will also need to understand the business to provide relevant solutions and facilitate communication within and outside of Teads.

Role Involves:

• Collaborating with various teams to develop complex services.
• Creating, designing, developing, testing, and monitoring code in production autonomously and reliably.
• Working with the Engineering Manager, Product Manager and UIUX team to frame projects and be accountable for their execution.
• Obtaining a good understanding of the business to provide relevant solutions to clients.
• Being a work facilitator and help communication inside and outside Teads.
• Staying up-to-date on new technologies and architectures.

Requirements:

• Good programming abilities with a focus on application architecture, performance, and maintainability.
• Solid background in Front-End and API development, utilizing Typescript, Angular, and/or React.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Experience with multiple shipped projects in Software Engineering.
• Production knowledge and practices (Release, Observability, Troubleshooting).
• Strong problem-solving skills.
