Apollo.io is seeking a Head of Growth Engineering to lead and scale their Growth Engineering culture. The Head of Growth Engineering will lead a team focused on data-driven experimentation, optimizing customer user journeys, improving conversions, and driving scalable systems that improve growth metrics. This role sits at the intersection of Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Data.Apollo.io is looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about growing a product that users love.Responsibilities:

• Lead and scale a team of Growth Engineers.
• Drive a culture of experimentation.
• Build and improve A/B testing frameworks.
• Identify high-leverage growth opportunities.
• Architect and build scalable systems.
• Leverage automation and machine learning.
• Hire, mentor, and develop a world-class Growth Engineering team.
• Ensure technical excellence.
• Drive the technical roadmap for Growth Engineering.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with 3+ years in a growth-focused or experimentation-driven leadership role.
• Proven success leading engineering teams that directly impacted business metrics.
• Strong product thinking and data-informed mindset.
• Deep experience with A/B testing, feature flagging, and user cohorting tools and methodologies.
• Strong programming skills in modern web technologies and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Design, and Data Science teams.
• Deep understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO), SEO, and performance engineering.
• Experience working with MongoDB, data pipelines, and analytics frameworks.
• Passion for rapid iteration, experimentation, and growth-driven development.
• Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of data privacy and security fundamentals.
• Proven experience leveraging AI tools to enhance software development processes.
