Quality Engineer

Apollo.io, a leading go-to-market solution provider, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. This role is a permanent EoR position. The Quality Engineer will be instrumental in driving quality engineering initiatives across the engineering organization, working closely with product development engineers and SREs to build automation testing practices.Apollo Engineering values ownership, creativity, communication, and collaboration in problem-solving.Role Involves:

• Automation Testing
• Adhering to QE processes and methodologies
• Designing and developing QE artifacts for automation frameworks
• Preparing and maintaining testing documents
• Automating test cases based on product requirements
• Managing test execution for various testing types
• Building QE dashboards for health metrics
• Enhancing synthetic monitoring practices
• Supporting engineers on internal tools and processes
• Performing QE testing activities
• Task prioritization and project estimation
• Requirements gathering for projects
• Managing customer demo presentations
• Providing estimates and plans for feature development
• Using agile project management techniques
• Communicating technical ideas to developers
• Providing strategic testing initiatives
• Collaborating with teams across different offices
• Managing risks and deliverables

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Software QA Engineer
• 2+ years of experience in a PLG Environment
• Experience with automation testing and frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright, or Rspec)
• Exposure to modern backend programming languages (Java, Python, or Ruby)
• Experience with JavaScript and/or Typescript
• Expert knowledge of software testing methodologies
• Experience in web services and microservice API level testing
• Experience in Agile testing methodologies
• Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance software development processes
• Strong problem-solving abilities and technical reasoning
• Ability to work cross-functionally with other engineering teams
