Apollo.io, a leading go-to-market solution provider, is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer. In this role, the individual will be instrumental in designing and building the data infrastructure and APIs that drive Apollo.io's analytics, machine learning, and product features. The Senior Data Platform Engineer will collaborate with various teams to translate requirements into engineering solutions, ensuring the health, quality, and reliability of data flows and platform services.Role involves:

• Architecting and building scalable data pipelines.
• Developing and maintaining high-performance APIs using FastAPI.
• Designing and managing cloud-based data infrastructure.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Implementing observability and alerting for data services and APIs.
• Evaluating and integrating new tools and technologies.
• Contributing to architectural discussions and code reviews.
• Documenting work and championing best practices.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, data engineering, or a data-facing role.
• Experience in building data applications.
• Deep knowledge of the data ecosystem.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance software development processes.
