Staff Data Engineer

Job Description

Apollo.io, a leading go-to-market solution, is seeking a Staff Data Engineer to maintain and operate the data platform that caters to machine learning workflows, analytics, and powers some of the products offered to Apollo customers. This role involves developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, improving Data APIs, implementing automated monitoring, and ensuring data quality. The ideal candidate will work closely with business units and engineering teams to develop a long-term data platform architecture.Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Improve Data APIs used in machine learning / AI product offerings.
• Implement automated monitoring and alerting systems.
• Monitor data quality and ensure accuracy.
• Define company data models and populate data models in the data warehouse.
• Collaborate with business units and engineering teams on data platform architecture.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience as a data platform engineer or software engineer in data or big data engineering.
• Experience in data modeling, data warehousing, APIs, and building data pipelines.
• Deep knowledge of databases and data warehousing.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• Experience using the Python data stack.
• Proven experience leveraging AI tools to enhance software development processes.
