Job Description

Apollo.io, a leading go-to-market solution provider, is seeking a Researcher to play a key role in enhancing user experience. The Researcher will collaborate with stakeholders to conduct research projects and contribute to the growth of the research team within the Product & Design organizations. This role involves a blend of research methodologies, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to drive meaningful impacts on product and company strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth user research using various methods like interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
• Contribute to persona and journey map development.
• Integrate iterative testing and feedback loops within the agile development process.
• Collect, analyze, and synthesize user data into actionable insights.
• Prepare research reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers.
• Coach and mentor junior researchers.
• Stay informed on industry trends and best practices.
• Share user insights to foster a culture of user empathy.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in mixed research methods (interviews, focus groups, surveys, etc.).
• Ability to ground research priorities in objectives that drive user and business value.
• Growth-oriented mindset with a love for learning new skills.
• Ability to resolve issues in ambiguous spaces and tailor research methods.
• Autonomous ownership and proactive strategic thinking.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Diverse portfolio demonstrating tackling complex problem areas.
• Empathetic and kind disposition.
• 5+ years of mixed methods research experience.
