Job Description
Later is seeking a Sales Director to join their sales team. The Sales Director will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and qualifying potential customers, as well as positioning the value of Later's software and influencer marketing solutions to enterprise brands. This role involves demonstrating Later's platform to prospects, creating proposals, negotiating, and closing new business. The Sales Director will also maintain an accurate sales pipeline and collaborate with Marketing, Services, and Customer Success departments to ensure a cohesive customer experience. Later is an enterprise leader in social media and influencer marketing software, services, and data, trusted by leading brands and agencies worldwide.What this role involves:
  • Identifying, prospecting, and qualifying potential customers.
  • Identifying customer needs and pain points and effectively prescribe solutions among the Later product & services offering.
  • Positioning the value of Later's software and influencer marketing to enterprise brands.
  • Demoing Later's platform to prospects and creating proposals.
  • Negotiating and closing net new business.
  • Keeping an accurate sales pipeline and contribute to team development.
  • Partnering with Marketing, Services, and Customer Success departments.
  • Bringing new ideas and innovative solutions to help advance the sales team and the entire company.
  • Designing and delivering prospect proposals.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience selling SaaS.
  • Experience in Influencer Marketing, Social Media, and Affiliate Marketing is strongly preferred.
  • Experience building a pipeline and closing business.
  • Experience leading customers through the purchase process from lead to customer.
  • An analytical, data-driven, and creative approach to problem-solving.
  • An ability to learn quickly and adapt.
  • A self-starter, with the confidence to work independently when necessary.
  • Excellent communication, writing and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail, drive to achieve goals, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional team.
