Job Description
ZipRecruiter is seeking a Director of Product, Growth and Search to lead the strategy and execution for growing its job seeker base. This role involves driving user acquisition, optimizing growth channels, and improving the search experience for job seekers. The Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and data teams. This is a player/coach role, requiring both leadership and hands-on execution.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and prioritize strategies to increase job seeker registrations and drive sustained growth.
- Optimize SEO and paid acquisition channels while identifying and testing new opportunities.
- Improve the end-to-end search experience for all job seekers.
- Define and refine cost-effectiveness metrics to assess performance across all channels.
- Manage a team of product managers.
- Lead and collaborate with engineering, marketing, and data teams to execute growth initiatives.
- Drive a culture of experimentation and iteration, using data to inform decisions.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in Eastern or Central Time zones.
- 8+ years of product management experience.
- 6+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams focused on growth or Search.
- 2+ years of experience managing product managers.
- Experience working on search, matching, and/or other Machine Learning products.
- Strong analytical mindset.
- Highly organized, structured thinker.
