Senior Product Designer

Job Description

Lightspeed is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join their Retail product team in Yerevan, Armenia. The Senior Product Designer will collaborate and deliver UX experiences that businesses will find useful and engaging. The ideal candidate will be an experienced UX Designer comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with complex problems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead high-level project work from a design perspective.
• Leverage UX expertise and understanding of design systems and UI design.
• Turn nebulous concepts into specific ideas for end-to-end digital product experiences.
• Design holistic systems, flows, and interfaces that are simple and user-friendly.
• Understand how to best use the current design system and contribute to its improvement.
• Draw insights from research and data to create tangible solutions.
• Build relationships and advocate for the user when collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee the UX from conception to launch.
• Be a positive role model and advocate for design within Lightspeed.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of practical, in-house product, UX/UI design experience.
• Applied experience with service design practices.
• Applied experience working across all digital and physical manifestations of design.
• Strong aesthetic and conceptual skills.
• Excellent communication and visualization skills.
• Fluency in use of design systems, prototyping, and user research methodologies.
• A passion for sharing design strategies.
• An acute level of self-awareness and deep empathy.
• A deep curiosity and ability to consider product strategy and vision.
• Fluency with product, design, and prototyping tools such as Figma, Google Suite, JIRA.
• Confident in both spoken and written English language skills.
