Lightspeed is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to join their sales team in Ghent, Belgium. This role focuses on driving new enterprise business within the hospitality industry across the Benelux region. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Dutch and possess a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a direct sales environment.
Identify, engage, and close strategic new clients in the hospitality industry (restaurants, bars, and hotels).
Build and execute winning sales strategies for Lightspeed’s platform (POS, online ordering, payments & inventory).
Manage complex sales cycles from initial contact to deal closure.
Serve as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions.
Build strong relationships with decision-makers and ensure smooth onboarding.
Contribute to sales campaigns, maintain CRM records, and support team goals.
Fluency in Dutch (essential). French is a plus.
Multiple years of full-cycle sales experience (SaaS, tech, hospitality, or POS preferred).
Proven track record in outbound B2B sales.
Strategic thinker with a proactive mindset.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
