Job Description
Lightspeed is seeking an Account Executive to join its retail sales team in North America. This role involves driving revenue through phone and email communication, as well as delivering screen-sharing presentations to potential customers. The Account Executive will build solutions for retailers adopting Lightspeed.
  • Follow-up on and manage qualified leads via phone and email.
  • Collaborate within a team to grow the business.
  • Lead one-on-one screen-sharing presentations/demos.
  • Work with management on pricing negotiations.
  • Achieve and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
  • Coordinate appointments with Sales Development Representatives.
  • Effectively guide prospects through a defined sales process.
  • Track prospect progression in Salesforce.com.
Lightspeed requires:
  • Sales experience in a closing role within a solution-sales or technology-related environment.
  • Strong presentation skills and telephone manner.
  • Understanding of quoting, invoicing, and purchasing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English; French is an asset.
  • Passion for people and technology.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a target-based environment.
