Job Description
Lightspeed is seeking an Account Executive to join their retail sales team in North America. This role involves driving revenue through phone and email correspondence, as well as screen-sharing presentations to potential customers. The Account Executive will build solutions for retailers looking to adopt Lightspeed for their business.Responsibilities include:
  • Following up on and managing qualified leads by phone and email.
  • Collaborating within a team environment to grow the business.
  • Leading one-on-one screen-sharing presentations/demos.
  • Working with management on pricing negotiations.
  • Achieving and surpassing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
  • Coordinating appointments and optimal scheduling with Sales Development Representatives.
  • Effectively leading prospects through a defined sales process.
  • Tracking prospect progression to close in Salesforce.com.
  • Handling other duties and responsibilities as defined by management.
Requirements:
  • Sales experience, preferably in a closing role in solution-sales / technology-related environment.
  • Strong presentation skills and telephone manner.
  • Experience with and solid understanding of quoting, invoicing, and purchasing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, French an asset.
  • Passion for people and technology.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a target based environment.
