Lightspeed is seeking a Field Sales Account Executive to join their team in Nice, France. This is an exciting opportunity to be one of the first Field Sales Account Executives in the South of France and help build a high-performing team. The role involves implementing a sales strategy with a physical presence in Nice, driving the sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals. The mission is to expand Lightspeed's presence, drive regional success, and contribute to the company's long-term impact in this key market.Lightspeed's Hospitality team is in hyper-growth mode, and this role offers the chance to refine and optimize the sales process at a smaller scale before expanding the team and reach.What this role involves:
  • Converting prospects into successful customers through in-person sales methods.
  • Carrying out the entire sales cycle, including lead generation, client meetings, value proposition creation, financial deal structuring, contract negotiation, and deal closing.
  • Visiting customers regularly to identify their business challenges and pain points.
  • Running in-person demonstrations of the retail product.
  • Analyzing, reporting, and acting on pipeline metrics.
  • Driving performance to consistently meet monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
  • Creating new business through network events.
Lightspeed is looking for someone who brings:
  • Relevant sales experience in a field and outbound environment, preferably in a solution-sales/technology-related field.
  • A strong understanding of sales development best practices.
  • The ability to manage time effectively and efficiently.
  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills, including strong listening, verbal, and written communication.
  • A demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed sales targets.
  • A love of numbers and a quantitative approach to decision-making.
  • The ability to thrive in a competitive, dynamic, and quota-driven environment.
  • Fluency in French and English.
  • An entrepreneurial and agile mindset, a bias toward action, and the ability to pivot when needed to meet business needs and objectives.
