Job Description
Lightspeed is seeking a Field Sales Account Executive to join their expanding UK Hospo team. This role requires a physical presence across Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield, or Leeds, driving the sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals each month. The Hospitality team is in hyper-growth mode, expanding its team and reach after refining its process. What this role involves:
  • Becoming an expert in the UK Hospo industry.
  • Monitoring competitors and their strategies.
  • Researching and forecasting sales, developing strategies, and evaluating their effectiveness.
  • Converting prospects into customers through in-person methods like door-to-door sales, cold calling, and presentations.
  • Managing the entire sales cycle, including lead development, client meetings, value proposition creation, financial deal structuring, contract negotiation, and deal closing.
  • Visiting customers to identify business challenges.
  • Running in-person demonstrations of the hospitality product.
  • Maintaining records in Salesforce CRM.
  • Processing sales quotes and deadlines accurately.
  • Collaborating with marketing and sales to develop new sales pipeline strategies.
  • Driving performance to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
  • Creating new business through network events.
What candidate needs to bring:
  • Relevant sales experience in a field and outbound environment, preferably in solution-sales or technology.
  • Strong experience in hospitality.
  • Understanding of sales development best practices.
  • Effective time management.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • An entrepreneurial and agile mindset.
