Lightspeed is seeking a Field Sales Account Executive to join their expanding UK Hospo team. This role requires a physical presence across Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield, or Leeds, driving the sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals each month. The Hospitality team is in hyper-growth mode, expanding its team and reach after refining its process.
What this role involves: - Becoming an expert in the UK Hospo industry.
- Monitoring competitors and their strategies.
- Researching and forecasting sales, developing strategies, and evaluating their effectiveness.
- Converting prospects into customers through in-person methods like door-to-door sales, cold calling, and presentations.
- Managing the entire sales cycle, including lead development, client meetings, value proposition creation, financial deal structuring, contract negotiation, and deal closing.
- Visiting customers to identify business challenges.
- Running in-person demonstrations of the hospitality product.
- Maintaining records in Salesforce CRM.
- Processing sales quotes and deadlines accurately.
- Collaborating with marketing and sales to develop new sales pipeline strategies.
- Driving performance to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
- Creating new business through network events.
What candidate needs to bring: - Relevant sales experience in a field and outbound environment, preferably in solution-sales or technology.
- Strong experience in hospitality.
- Understanding of sales development best practices.
- Effective time management.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM.
- Proficiency in English.
