Lightspeed is seeking a Sales Trainer to join their team in Montreal. The Sales Trainer will focus on onboarding and continuous training for sales representatives in the NOAM region. This role involves mentoring salespeople, designing training courses, and preparing educational material to enhance sales skills and performance.

What this role involves:

  • Designing and implementing training programs for new hires.
  • Conducting performance needs analyses to identify skill gaps.
  • Developing and maintaining tailored training courses.
  • Coordinating and overseeing training events.
  • Tracking training completion rates and key performance metrics.
  • Collaborating with sales managers to assess business needs.
  • Gathering feedback on training programs.
  • Preparing and presenting monthly reports on training initiatives.
  • Analyzing training-related data to provide actionable insights.

Requirements:

  • Experience facilitating and creating training material.
  • Familiarity with role-playing activities and e-learning platforms.
  • Agility and solutions-focused mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a sales, sales enablement, or sales coach/training position.
  • Thorough understanding of sales techniques.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
