Lightspeed is seeking a talented Software Development Team Lead to lead, mentor, and coach a high-performing software development team. The Team Lead will also manage the team's delivery, promoting productive and sustainable work methods while focusing on long-term business value. Technical leadership and a strong software development background are essential for challenging and developing team members. The role includes influencing culture, facilitating technical delivery, and collaborating on strategy and execution.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a development team of 5-6 members.
• Enhance team growth through mentoring, coaching, and feedback.
• Provide high-quality code reviews and design feedback.
• Develop performant, scalable, and maintainable applications and microservices.
• Collaborate with other teams, architects, product managers, and engineering leaders.
• Improve software delivery processes and practices.
• Provide technical and process guidance and participate in recruiting.

Requirements:

• Proven experience leading a team of developers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid understanding of development processes, testing, and CI/CD best practices.
• Experience delivering horizontally scalable applications and microservices.
• Passion for learning and continuous improvement.
• Solution-oriented mindset and ability to manage ambiguity.
• Advanced skills in Typescript, React (Frontend Development background).
• Full-stack web development familiarity is a strong plus.
