Job Description
Remote is seeking a Payroll Specialist Lead to join their Global Payroll Operations Team. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the global employment space. The Payroll Specialist Lead will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring data integrity, and implementing process improvements. The ideal candidate will have payroll management experience, knowledge of payroll best practices, and proficiency in software tools like SAP and Excel.Responsibilities:
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the country.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders in Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineering.
  • Process full end-to-end payroll in-house, including statutory filing requirements, exceptions, approvals, payments, and compliance.
  • Ensure full data integrity and quality.
  • Focus on KPIs and SLAs.
  • Implement and improve processes.
  • Mentor and support payroll specialists.
  • Back up regional managers during times of absence.
Requirements:
  • Payroll management or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of payroll best practices.
  • Proficiency in using software tools like SAP, Excel / Google Sheet.
  • An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment with a passion for making an impact.
  • Productivity-focused and constantly seeks ways to improve work efficiency.
  • Understands the need and ideal to work largely asynchronously.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
