Job Description
Remote is seeking a Payroll Specialist Lead to manage payroll operations in the United Arab Emirates. This role involves end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and managing stakeholder relationships. The Payroll Specialist Lead will drive process improvements, mentor payroll specialists, and optimize payroll operations in a fast-paced, international environment.

Responsibilities include:
  • Acting as a subject matter expert for the UAE.
  • Managing relationships with stakeholders in Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineering.
  • Processing full end-to-end payroll in-house, including statutory filings, exceptions, approvals, and payments.
  • Ensuring compliance with DMCC, MOL, and WPS requirements.
  • Maintaining data integrity and quality.
  • Focusing on KPIs and SLAs.
  • Implementing and improving processes.
  • Mentoring and supporting payroll specialists.

The ideal candidate should have:
  • In-house payroll management experience leading end-to-end processing of UAE payroll.
  • Hands-on experience with DMCC, MOL, or WPS workflows.
  • Knowledge of payroll best practices.
  • Proficiency in software tools like SAP, Excel / Google Sheet.
  • An analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment.
  • Fluent English.
