Job Description
Industrious is seeking a Director of Accounting, Reporting & Finance Transformation to join their team. This role is based in New York City and reports to the VP, Controller. It's a hybrid position requiring two days per week in the office. The Director will oversee internal and external financial reporting, enhance reporting processes, and manage special projects related to internal controls and financial systems. They will lead a team of two direct reports and collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand business needs. Role Involves:
  • Delivering timely and accurate monthly results.
  • Leading a team of two direct reports.
  • Performing business performance reviews.
  • Delivering accurate and decision-useful monthly financial reporting.
  • Overseeing the global consolidation and intercompany eliminations process.
  • Driving system-enhancement projects.
  • Being a valued thought partner on internal controls projects.
  • Playing a key role in elevating the Company’s existing accounting function.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional partners and leaders.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited school and a CPA designation is required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably with public company reporting exposure.
  • Prior experience at a Big 4 accounting firm strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with public company reporting requirements and SOX internal controls is required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial systems; experience with OneStream or similar consolidation and reporting tools is a plus.
  • Proven track record as an effective project manager.
  • Experience managing small teams to meet or exceed company goals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Role Offers:
  • Annual base compensation range between $170,000 - $180,000.
