Job Description

Industrious is seeking a Head of Legal to serve as a trusted business partner and legal expert. The Head of Legal will work with the leadership team and leaders at CBRE to solve problems, enable smart risks, and drive business outcomes. This role involves leading legal strategy, commercial transactions, and day-to-day operations, while advising across all parts of the business. Industrious is looking for someone who embraces emerging technologies to streamline legal operations and improve efficiency.Responsibilities include:

• Advising the leadership team on legal, regulatory, and business risks.
• Guiding major commercial transactions and leading negotiations.
• Shaping governance and compliance approach in partnership with CBRE.
• Building and leading a high-performing legal function.
• Structuring and executing transactions that fuel growth.

Requirements include:

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to practice law in New York.
• 15+ years of legal experience, including in-house leadership at a high-growth or global company.
• Experience leading legal teams and working cross-functionally at the executive level.
• A global mindset with experience navigating complex, multi-jurisdictional legal challenges.
