Job Description

dbt Labs is seeking a Customer Solutions Engineer in the Philippines to join their Customer Solutions Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver with a passion for helping others and delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves supporting dbt Cloud users through various channels, diving deep into technical issues, and continuously building expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Support customers through tickets, email, and video, managing a range of issues.
  • Build and deepen technical expertise across all facets of dbt Cloud.
  • Take ownership of customer challenges, from troubleshooting to resolution.
  • Enhance documentation to ensure it’s technically accurate and easily understood.
  • Proactively seek out professional development opportunities.
  • Learn dbt Core and dbt Cloud and build technical expertise broadly across all areas of our product.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in coding languages, SQL, APIs, and understanding network requests.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A genuine drive for solving problems and helping others.
  • A strong technical foundation, especially within a SaaS support environment.
  • Prior experience in roles that merge the technical with the client-facing.
  • Experience building documentation or technical how-to guides.
  • A creative attitude towards problem solving.
