Gong is seeking a Director of Product Analytics to lead and advance the analytics function, driving data-driven decision-making across multiple product groups. The Director will focus on empowering teams through actionable insights that shape Gong's flagship products, while also fostering a strong data-driven culture. This role involves overseeing the selection, implementation, and management of analytics tools, ensuring a seamless data-driven culture within the Product & Engineering Analytics group.

The Director of Product Analytics will play a crucial role in shaping product decisions by blending traditional SaaS data with unique business insights, actively influencing the roadmap, and driving innovation across teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Elevate and enhance the product analytics function by leading a team of senior product analysts.
  • Partner with groups across Gong to support the entire product lifecycle.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to senior product analysts.
  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of analytics tools and methodologies.
  • Define the strategy and roadmap for product analytics.
  • Collaborate with BI, data, and analytics teams across the organization.
  • Drive the development of advanced analytical tools and work processes.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in analytics-related roles, ideally in product analytics within SaaS B2B products.
  • 3+ years of experience managing analytics teams.
  • Expertise in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with data analytics tools like SQL, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
