Business Development Intern Fall 2025

Job Description

Rocket Lab, a global leader in launch and space systems, is seeking a Business Development Intern for their Silver Spring, Maryland site. This internship offers the opportunity to assist the Business Development team in updating business cases for separation systems and mechanical products, as well as conduct competitive assessment and analysis. The Business Development team connects customers across government and commercial sectors with Rocket Lab's mission solutions.What this role involves:

• Assisting the Business Development team.
• Updating business cases for separation systems and mechanical products.
• Conducting competitive assessment and analysis.
• Working with a fast-paced group of professionals.
• Attending 1:1 meetings with mentors and supervisors.
• Networking with other interns and employees.

Requirements:

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in an engineering, physics or math discipline.
• Must have at least one semester of school remaining post internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience.
• Able to work full-time, on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning August or September 2025.
