Business Development Intern Fall 2025

Job Description

Rocket Lab is seeking a Business Development Intern for Fall 2025 at their Long Beach, CA headquarters. This internship offers the opportunity to support the Business Development team by updating business cases for separation systems and mechanical products, as well as conducting competitive assessment and analysis. The intern will work closely with the team to connect customers across government and commercial sectors with Rocket Lab's mission solutions.Rocket Lab’s Business Development team is responsible for connecting customers across government and commercial sectors with our industry leading mission solutions spanning launch and space systems. They work closely with new and existing customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to deliver their missions.What this role involves:

• Assisting the Business Development team in updating business cases.
• Conducting competitive assessment and analysis.
• Working with a fast-paced group of professionals.
• Attending frequent 1:1’s with mentors and supervisors.
• Networking with other interns and employees.

Requirements:

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in an engineering, physics or math discipline.
• Must have at least one semester of school remaining post internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience.
• Able to work full-time, on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning August or September 2025.
