Rocket Lab is seeking a Business Development Lead, ADCS Components to be based in their Toronto, Canada location. This role will serve as the primary interface between reaction wheel and star tracker customers and the engineering, production, and management teams. The Business Development Lead will report directly to the Director of Business Development, ADCS Components.Rocket Lab's Business Development team connects customers across government and commercial sectors with mission solutions spanning launch and space systems. They work with new and existing customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions. Building and maintaining relationships with customers and internal teams is key.
What this role involves: - Providing timely responses to customer technical inquiries.
- Drafting proposals for new business opportunities.
- Using Salesforce to track leads, opportunities, and proposals.
- Monitoring sales performance and generating forecasted demand.
- Maintaining and improving customer-facing technical documentation.
- Generating quotes and export license applications.
- Collaborating with the Communications team on campaigns.
- Remaining current on satellite competitive landscape and market trends.
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, program management, or systems engineering within the aerospace sector.
