Team Lead - Avionics Hardware

Rocket Lab is seeking a Team Lead for Neutron Avionics Hardware. This role involves leading the end-to-end development of avionics products for the Neutron launch vehicle. The Team Lead will be the subject matter expert and people leader for the Neutron Avionics Hardware team, guiding them from concept through production readiness.Rocket Lab is a global leader in launch and space systems, responsible for building and launching rockets and satellites that support vital space missions. The company's Electron rocket has provided reliable access to orbit since 2018, and Neutron will be their next advanced, reusable rocket.What this role involves:

• Leading the end-to-end development of new avionics products.
• Overseeing the review and release of schematics and PCB designs.
• Leading development and qualification test campaigns for avionics components.
• Identifying competing test priorities and providing recommendations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable engineering field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• High proficiency in at least two electronics domains: analog, high-speed digital, or power electronics.
• High proficiency in engineering design tools, including circuit simulation and analysis.
