Integrated Operations Engineer II, Mechanical - Pipeline

Job Description

Rocket Lab is seeking an Integrated Operations Engineer II, Mechanical - Pipeline to join their Integrated Operations team. This team is responsible for testing, launch, and mission operations of Electron and Neutron launch vehicles. The Integrated Operations Engineer will develop, integrate, and test mechanical systems, oversee the configuration and checkout of launch vehicle systems, and lead testing projects. They will also mentor other operators, develop CONOPS and HMIs, perform real-time troubleshooting, and author/review operations procedures.Role involves:

• Developing, integrating, and testing mechanical systems for launch vehicles
• Overseeing configuration and checkout of launch vehicle systems
• Leading and managing testing projects
• Mentoring and training other operators
• Developing CONOPS and HMIs
• Performing real-time troubleshooting
• Authoring and reviewing operations procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic preferred)
• 2+ years of experience in engineering design, test, and/or operations
• 4+ years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
