Job Description
Rocket Lab is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician - Launch to join their team in Mahia, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. This role is integral to all launch activities at Launch Complex 1 (LC-1), contributing to its high launch rate. The technician will collaborate with a team of technicians and engineers to build, test, and maintain critical launch systems.
Role Involves:
- Participating in all launch activities.
- Building, testing, and maintaining critical launch systems.
- Working within a team of technicians and engineers.
Requirements:
- Current NZ electrical license with no restrictions.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Computer literacy and basic programming understanding.
- Ability to read and understand detailed schematics, drawings, and instructions.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Team player with a willingness to assist where needed.
- Confidence in decision-making under pressure.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and initiative.
- Ability to relocate to Mahia, Hawkes Bay.
