Rocket Lab is seeking a Recovery Engineering Intern to join their Neutron Recovery Team in Middle River, Maryland. This internship offers the opportunity to support the design of Recovery and Marine Transportation hardware for Neutron. The intern will collaborate with a fast-paced team of professionals, applying engineering concepts to solve real-world challenges. What this role involves: - Working closely with a mentor and department employees.
- Applying engineering and industry concepts to solve real challenges.
- Attending frequent 1:1 meetings with mentors and supervisors.
- Participating in tech talks and networking events.
Requirements: - Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master's, or doctorate degree program in an engineering, physics, or math discipline.
- Must have at least one semester of school remaining post internship.
- GPA of 3.0 or above.
- 3+ months of applied engineering experience.
- Able to work full-time, on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning August or September 2025.
