Senior Frontend Developer at Gong.io

Gong is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to contribute to the development of its SaaS solutions. The Senior Frontend Developer will be a key member of Gong's frontend guild, collaborating with various teams to tackle technical challenges and deliver innovative solutions. They will own the features they develop, working closely with product and UX teams from the initial stages to production.

The role involves participating in architecture discussions, learning new technologies through lectures and workshops, and contributing to a successful startup technology team.

Responsibilities:

• Be a major part of Gong's frontend guild.
• Tackle complex technical challenges across architecture, code, and product levels.
• Be the owner of the features you develop while collaborating with product and UX teams.
• Be part of architecture huddles for future code and best practices decisions.
• Constantly learn new things through lectures and workshops organized by Gong.
• Be part of a successful startup technology team.

Requirements:

• Preferably have a degree in computer science or similar.
• 5+ years of industry experience developing web applications.
• Deep understanding of how JavaScript works.
• Experienced with React - must.
• Familiarity with backend languages such as Java, Node.js, C#, and others is an advantage.
• Experienced with large scale, cloud-based web applications.
• Proven experience in the architecture of design systems and components.
• An all-around player, fast learner, and self-motivated individual.
• Excellent communicator and team player, with strong verbal and written skills in English.
• A person who enjoys working independently and within a team of highly skilled peers.
