Job Description
Rocket Lab is seeking a Manager for Enterprise Information Systems to be based at their global headquarters in Long Beach, CA. This role is responsible for Financial Planning, HR and ERP Systems, leading financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, managing ERP finance system functionalities, and overseeing Workday implementation and administration. The EIS Manager will play a critical role in enhancing the company's financial planning processes, maximizing ERP capabilities, and ensuring efficient utilization of Workday.This individual will lead cross-functional projects, provide leadership for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of finance systems, build and lead a high-performing team of business analysts, and partner with leadership in Finance and P&C global teams.What this role involves:
  • Leading cross-functional projects related to FP&A, ERP, and Workday systems.
  • Providing leadership for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of finance systems.
  • Building and leading a high performing team of business analysts.
  • Partnering with leadership in Finance and P&C global teams.
  • Managing data integration and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Overseeing Workday HCM & Adaptive related issues.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience managing Enterprise Systems and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of management skills with the ability to lead high performing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
  • Proven track record of managing and optimizing Financial Planning, HRIS, and ERP systems.
  • Strong technical background with managing integrations & best practices for building REST API integrations.
