Job Description
Gong is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to expand its business accounts and acquire new customers. The role involves managing the sales cycle and contributing to Gong's growth within the commercial market. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Gong's technology and demonstrate strong business-to-business sales skills.
The Commercial Account Executive will be responsible for:
- Managing prospects from lead to close.
- Clearly articulating and demonstrating Gong's value proposition.
- Cultivating long-term customer relationships.
- Maintaining weekly sales forecasts and achieving quarterly quotas.
- Running and implementing 7 to 10 day pilot programs.
The requirements include:
- 6 months - 1 year+ of relevant closing experience for Commercial.
- Located in San Francisco or Chicago.
- Previous SaaS and enterprise software experience.
- Previous outbound prospecting experience.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Comfortable selling to VP, C-Suite executives, and sales leaders.
