Job Description
Gong is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to expand their business accounts and acquire new customers. Gong empowers revenue teams to improve productivity, increase predictability, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will manage the sales cycle within the commercial market, leveraging knowledge of Gong's technology and sales skills.
The Commercial Account Executive will be responsible for:
- Managing prospects from lead to close.
- Clearly articulating and demonstrating Gong's value proposition.
- Cultivating long-term relationships with customers.
- Maintaining weekly sales forecasts and achieving quarterly quotas.
- Running and implementing 7 to 10 day pilot programs.
The ideal candidate should have:
- 6 months - 1 year+ of relevant closing experience for Commercial.
- SaaS and enterprise software experience.
- Outbound prospecting experience.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience selling to sales leaders (a plus).
- Comfort in a fast-paced environment with startup experience.
- A self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit.
- Ability to sell to VP, C-Suite executives, and sales leaders.
