Job Description
Galileo, a financial technology company, is seeking a Semi Senior Software Engineer to contribute to their Core API platform. This role involves implementing new functionality, architecting systems, resolving bugs, and maintaining code health. The engineer will participate in the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to deployment.- Work on the development and testing of systems and services
- Shape the technical architecture of the product
- Translate product requirements into user stories and technical solutions
- Deliver highly available and scalable services in a production environment
- Write, test, and deploy efficient, scalable code to production
- Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies
- Collaborate with project leads and other software developers
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3-5 years programming experience in Python
- Experience with operating in Cloud and distributed systems
- Experience with Continuous Delivery principles and techniques
- Experience with DevOps and ownership of services from development to production
- Emerging ability to collaborate, communicate and influence a team's technical direction
- Emerging ability to design resilient software components within a distributed system
- Opportunity to work on a Core API platform
