SOX BP Tester

Job Description

Galileo Financial Technologies is seeking a SOX BP Tester to execute business process financial reporting related testing components of SoFi’s Corporate SOX Program. The BP Tester will act as a testing advisor to the lines of business across SoFi Technologies and its subsidiaries. Reporting to the Sr Manager of SOX Testing Operations, the role involves working with direct, indirect, and external team members to develop testing approaches and methodology.

• Executing BP control testing and assessments of control design and operating effectiveness.
• Documenting deficiencies and raising them with the SOX PMO and Management.
• Acting as a subject matter expert in the SOX testing area.
• Building and maintaining relationships with various lines of business.
• Adhering to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

• 3-6 or more years of Business Process (BP) SOX-related testing experience.
• Practical knowledge of SOX, ICFR, COSO, US GAAP Accounting, and SEC Reporting.
• Critical thinking, analytical, and strategic skills.
• Ability to navigate ambiguous environments independently.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills (both oral and written).
• Fluent English and Spanish oral and writing skills.
