Gong is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to acquire new customers and create enthusiastic advocates. The Mid-Market Account Executive will be championing the entire sales process. The role involves creatively prospecting for new business and managing complex deals to become a thought leader in the field. As part of Gong's sales team, the Account Executive will master discovery and serve as a strategic business partner for potential clients, playing a significant role in the company's growth. This position offers an opportunity to make a substantial impact and refine sales skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing prospects from lead to close.
- Providing an exceptional customer experience.
- Articulating and demonstrating Gong's value proposition.
- Cultivating lasting relationships with customers.
- Running and implementing pilot programs.
- Maintaining weekly sales forecasts and achieving quarterly quotas.
Requirements include:
- Commutable distance from Chicago
- 3+ years of relevant closing experience including outbound SDR/BDR experience.
- SaaS and enterprise software experience.
- Experience closing deals $50-$250K.
- Experience selling a platform solution.
- Success in achieving sales goals.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Creative, resourceful, and detail-oriented.
- Strong team player.
