Medical Doctor for International Humanitarian Missions

Job Description

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is seeking a Medical Doctor to join their team for international humanitarian missions. The role involves providing outpatient and inpatient medical care to patients, adhering to MSF protocols and universal hygiene standards. The Medical Doctor will contribute to improving the health conditions of beneficiaries in various project locations. Responsibilities include:

• Applying medical knowledge for diagnosis and prevention.
• Conducting consultations and prescribing treatments.
• Informing patients and families about illnesses and treatments.
• Following up on hospitalized patients and adjusting treatments.
• Ensuring rational distribution of medicines and equipment.
• Participating in epidemiological data collection and analysis.
• Training the medical team to optimize care quality.
• Ensuring compliance with medical protocols and universal precautions.
• Managing the team according to MSF HR policies.

Requirements:

• General Physician Degree.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a General Physician or Surgeon.
• Experience in tropical medicine and public health.
• Fluency in English (B2 or higher) and Spanish (C1 or higher).
• Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Internet).
