Job Description
Vonage is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead Agile practices and optimize team output. This is a hybrid role based in Wrocław, requiring at least one day a week in the office. The Engineering Manager will manage the execution of Agile practices, helping the team accelerate development and optimize output while maintaining culture and delivering value to customers. They will manage and build on a reliable continuous improvement process, ensuring efficient delivery at high quality. They will also act as an escalation point for development teams to help mitigate and unblock where required.
Role Involves:
- Managing the execution of Agile practices and processes.
- Helping the team accelerate their development and optimize their output.
- Maintaining the culture and continuing to deliver value to customers.
- Managing and building on a reliable continuous improvement process.
- Ensuring efficient delivery at high quality.
- Acting as an escalation point for development teams.
Requirements:
- Proven record of leading, developing, and managing similar or larger development teams.
- Experience in managing a team producing measurable delivery of software in a timely and high-quality manner.
- Experience in leading delivery cycles and working with multiple releases with Agile methodologies in a SaaS environment.
- Experience of best practice work, management tools, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and DevOps practices.
- Experience in managing multi-cultural and diverse background technology professionals.
- Understanding of Salesforce and/or CRM (nice to have).
