Software Engineering Manager

Job Description

Vonage is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of highly talented software engineers. This role is based in Tel Aviv, Israel, and offers a hybrid work environment. The manager will have end-to-end ownership of the product from an engineering perspective, driving all aspects of the business within their scope, including hiring, talent management, product, engineering, and business decisions. The team is responsible for application security and user management areas, mission-critical services.Role involves:

• Leading a team of at least 5 engineers.
• Owning application security and user management areas.
• Driving all aspects of the business in their scope.
• Empowering the team to deliver a quality cloud product.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in leading a team of at least 5 engineers.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in software engineering.
• Knowledge of JavaScript/Typescript (NodeJS), Java (Spring), Postgresql, Redis, Kafka, AWS, K8S.
• Experience in agile software development.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
