Job Description
Gong is seeking a Manager for its Commercial Sales team. This role is crucial for scaling and codifying the already successful commercial team, which is the bedrock of Gong's sales organization. The ideal candidate will be located in NYC or SF and within a commutable distance to the office.Responsibilities include:
- Hiring, training, and managing a team of Account Executives
- Developing and coaching team members on sales, product, and industry skills
- Motivating team members and driving high performance
- Regularly reporting on team and individual results
- Identifying and recommending improvements in process, efficiency, and productivity
Requirements include:
- 2+ years of experience building and managing high-performing software sales teams
- Consistent track record of 100%+ quota achievement as a manager and individual contributor
- Proven track record of success
- Experience managing and improving full cycle Account Executive KPIs
- High level of business acumen and understanding of revenue leaders
